i cant figure out why isnt the distance sensor doing anything the terminal is empty the simulator im using is simulide heres the circuit:

Hi.
You should connect Tx to Rx and Rx to Tx.
Or don't use a Serial Terminal and just Right-click on Arduino an select: Open Serial Monitor -> USart1
