Pattern generator issues
Quote from ccortiz on October 28, 2026, 10:19 amHello,I am trying to use the "Pattern_generator" tool. I load a sequence into the memory table with a counter that goes from 0x00 to 0xFF, as shown in the attached image. The problem is that when I simulate the circuit, the generator only outputs the first 4 bytes. As a result, the signal I expect to see on the oscilloscope appears cut off.Am I missing any additional configuration to be able to output the 256 bytes stored in the memory?Thank you.
Quote from Fizik_S on October 29, 2026, 9:20 pmThis tool allows you to adjust the number of bytes output from memory. For this purpose, there is a DIP switch at the bottom of the tool. You need to activate one of the switch buttons. If none of the buttons are activated, only 4 bytes will be output. When the button marked “8” (the leftmost one) is activated, 8 bytes will be output. When the button marked “256” (the rightmost one) is activated, 256 bytes will be output.
Attention! The tool is experiencing an error! To resolve it, refer to the post at the following link:https://simulide.com/p/forum/topic/new-subcircuits-for-simulide-v-1-1-0-and-higher/#postid-2936
