Multiple Board instances issue
Quote from vandymusic on September 29, 2024, 8:11 pmGreetings,
Great program! It's nice to be able design digitally before working with real hardware.
I'm working on a project that involves many inputs/outputs so I am using shift registers. To keep things tidy in simulIDE (and what will be the real world grouping). I grouped the shift registers into boards. When I use one board(say board A), everything goes as expected. But when add a second of the same board (2x of board A--to daisy chain), without wiring that board to anything, it disrupts the behavior of the data line coming from those boards or doesn't work at all. In order to fix, I have to remove both boards and start again with just one board.
I'm using the SimulIDE 1.1.0 release from July on Linux (Debian based).
Many thanks,

Difficult to know what is happening without something to test.
Can you share your circuits?

Here they are.
I think I included all the necessary files.
Thanks again.
