Do you think that features could be added to allow support for IEC 61499? I think that having features similar to 4diac would be useful in this tool, simulide seems to already support most of the features required, a programming interface, micorprocessor support, raspberry pi and arduino support. Does it have network protocol support? Does it have useful microprocessor and microcontroller support to utilize it to create HMI human machine interfaces for control systems? What could be borrowed from 4diac? It would be great to have a professional evaluation on what it would take to make this a suitable interface for IEEE IEC 641499?

Implementing this in Simulide is not trivial.
Why not use 4diac directly?
In any case rpi is not supported in Simulide.
