Context menu - reload Document not working

I'm using SimulIDE for programming Arduino. If I edit a program in another editor and either use the context menu->reload document or press ctrl+r the document does not get reloaded. To confirm both editors are seeing the same file I close and reopen the file in SimulIDE and the changes then appear.

version: 1.1.0-SR1 rev 2005
build Date 2024-10-17
